Rituals Help Us Form Emotional Connections

By Derek Neighbors on July 29, 2011

Random note, likely from a book I read. Loved the thought and the implication.

“In all my years helping companies develop and strengthen brands, there’s one thing I’ve seen time and time again: rituals help us form emotional connections with brands and products.”

“Whatever our exact ritual, the social act of eating together is important; it “reunites us with our tribe.”. Transforming us from solitary beings to members of a group.”

I am reminded why I love breakfast everyday with my Integrum family. Also, Startup BBQ and New Comer Lunch at Gangplank are special to me as well.
